I moved to Göttingen in June 2008.
Before, I was a Postdoc at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and at the IMA in Minneapolis.
I did my PhD in July 2006 at the TU Kaiserslautern. My advisor is Andreas Gathmann.
I was awarded the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz price 2010 of the DFG. See also the press info of the University of Göttingen.
August 31 - September 4, I will be in Oberwolfach at the complex analysis meeting.
Sep 13-16, the Courant Colloquium will take place in Göttingen. Most interesting for tropical people: Grisha Mikhalkin will be among the speakers. (The other speakers are interesting too, of course.)
November 25-27, the Software Workshop Geometry and Combinatorics 2010 - Part 2 will take place in Göttingen.
Eva Feichtner and I organize a seminar called The North German Plain Goes Tropical. The next meeting will be on October 27.
